Arizona alpaca farms will continue to make an increasing contribution to the State's agricultural production as the industry grows. Agriculture is important to the State's economy with top commodities being cattle and calves, dairy products, and cotton. Manufacturing has become Arizona's most important industry. Principal products include electrical, communications, and aeronautical items. Arizona produces over half of the country's copper. Arizona's alpaca owners have discovered that the breed is adaptable to the varying climate and geography of the State, and they have formed a vibrant and supportive community.
