Connecticut alpaca farms are making and increasing contribution to the State's agricultural production as the industry grows. Leading New England in the production of eggs, pears, peaches, and mushrooms, Connecticut's oyster crop is the nation's second largest. Poultry and dairy products also account for a large portion of farm income. Connecticut factories produce weapons, sewing machines, jet engines, helicopters, motors, hardware and tools, cutlery, clocks, locks, silverware, and submarines. Alpaca breeders have established a number of regional breed associations in the North Eastern United States.

His gold-headed cane was almost a bludgeon..."
