Alpaca Resource Directory
|
Hawaii alpaca farms hold the potential to make a significant contribution to the State's agricultural production as the industry grows. Cane sugar, pineapple, and flowers and nursery products are the chief products although Hawaii also grows coffee beans, bananas, and macadamia nuts. The tourist business is Hawaii's largest source of outside income. While alpacas have only recently been introduced to Hawaii, they are expected to prove adaptable to the geography and climate.
