Contact: Mahlon Hotker - AU Website The Western Australia Southern Region extends from Harvey, just north of Bunbury, to the south coast and east to Esperance and the South Australian border. This area encompasses internationally recognised wineries, tall Karri forests and sparkling pristine beaches. The region has a Mediterranean climate with little or no rainfall over hot summers and cool winters with heavy rainfall periods. Agriculture across the region is varied with horticulture, cattle and dairy farming, broad acre sheep farming and life style farmlets with many farms now adding Alpacas to their enterprises. |
