Contact: Karen Roberts South Carolina USA Website The Alpaca Small Farm Network is a non-profit organization registered with the South Carolina Secretary of State. The ASFN began meeting informally over potluck dinners in 2004 with the goal of alpaca breeders getting to know one another in the community. Friendships and mutually supportive relationships eventually turned to pursuing the formation of a more structured organization the purpose of providing more intense educational efforts and other joint projects by the members.
ASFN members now organize and conduct the Palmetto Alpaca Classic, an AOBA certified alpaca show held in Clemson, South Carolina. |
